How to register?
No need for registration. Take part in the daily debates and you will be automatically added to the tournament.
How long does one stage of the tournament last?
One stage lasts three debate days. One debate day lasts 24 hours (or 72 hours if it is in range of Friday-Monday). The starting point of the day is 00:00 by the Californian time.
What do I have to do to get to the next stage?.
To pass to the next stage, your national team has to score a higher coefficient than your opponent. Take into your consideration that only the highest coefficient will be counted from each country.
How can I score a high coefficient in order for my team to win?
For that you will need to participate in daily debates of DB Advisors, and predict the majority opinion, to score a high coefficient. Your coefficient will be counted if it is the highest among the others scored by your team members.
What is the layout of the tournament?
The tournament starts from 1/32, and the countries are divided into pairs. The team which scores the highest summative coefficient at one stage will pass to the next stage. And do not forget that only the highest coefficient scored by the team members can affect the results of the national team. The stages of the tournament are 1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, and final.
The prize fund of the tournament is more than $7500.
Distribution of the prizes among the national teams:
1st place – $1000
2nd place - $700
3rd place - $500
4th place - $300
For the participants of 1/4 – $200
For the participants of 1/8 – $150
For the participants of 1/16 – $100
For the participants of 1/32 – $50
The prize is divided among all the active members of each national team.
In addition, the winners (the first three places) will take part in the final tournament at the end of the year.
