“You look happy, but you don't feel happy”, that’s what depression does to you. The feelings of severe despondency and dejection are known as depression. It's a serious mental illness. Depression is different from sadness or grief, for example, the death of a loved one, loss of a game or the failure of the examination is a difficult situation for a person. It's a normal feeling of sadness. It’s not depression. Depression is a feeling in which people are not willing to talk about it, for example, a failed dream. When someone really feels that they are totally alone, it comes to issues like depression.
Depression causes sadness, loneliness and loss of the interest in doing something. It hampers the normal activities of a man. It causes mental imbalance. Sometimes a man is unable to do his daily works sincerely. It can decrease a man’s ability to function at work and at home. Though depressed one acts quite normal, they are mentally disturbed. They spent their time alone. Most of the time people cannot find out the actual cause of depression. It may be the most valuable side of his life which he lost, or failed. For some people, the death of a loved one can bring major depression, at the same time for another one it is only sadness. The cause of depression varies from man to man. The feelings of sadness and gloominess depend on how strong you are in mentally or psychologically.
Mental support is the most important thing for easing depression. To help depressed one, first of all, you need to make him understand that he is not alone, you are with him. Then you have to do something for refreshing his mind. If you are not able to solve his problem, you can suggest him a psychologist. Everyone should follow that.
