We invited Ayse Birsel to a virtual meeting to tell you about a very interesting aspect in problem-solving.
To find an interesting solution, you must think wrong. This is not a dogma, and not even one of the best ways. This is an intentional risk. That is, you turn everything at 180 degrees. If you want, turn everything upside down.
Logic says one thing: all your colleagues agree in one opinion, and you go in the opposite direction. You are ridiculed, you lose your job, but there is a chance that you will discover an innovative way of answering an “archival” question that has not become less relevant!
Tips from Ayse Bersel:
- Be beginner
- Let others take the lead
- Get rid of the hierarchy
Fear of bad ideas? And what if this is an “explosion”? Do you doubt?
Then there is a high probability that you are passed by the good ones.
