is from Venezuela and she lives in Guanare, the capital of Portuguesa State. She is a computer engineer and has been working for 14 years in the field of basic and technical education in Administrative Services. Tell us about yourself, please ...

I was born on June 6, in 1976 in the city of Garora, Lara state. I married a guy who I met at the age of 15 and we have three children. I thank God for such a cohesive family. I have a mother who always reminds me that family is the main thing that needs to be maintained in both material and moral sense.

Who do you do, what are your hobbies?

I started working in the education field in 2003, teaching courses in computer science, then in the Ministry of Education. Then Commercial Technical School was established in Guanare, where I taught computer science and worked for 9 years.

As for the hobby, I like crosswords and make desserts (cakes, cookies, truffles and alfajors) and some other unhealthy food (pizza and club sandwich).

Interesting combination - an engineer who bakes. Why did you decide to bake?

In view of the fact that it is impossible to live only on wages and that on the birthdays of my relatives we searched for recipes to make a cake and I decided to enroll in a course for making and decorating cakes. I liked to use creativity to do something, and it became recipes. On birthdays weddings and other family celebrations, I became a famous baker, of course with the help of my daughter and my spouse, to make some doll or figure that the customers ask.

What inspired you to create "Sylvain Sandwiches?"

Good reviews of my acquaintances and clients who were satisfied with the design and taste.

What kind of cakes do people often choose? What taste is preferred by the majority?

Cold pies filled with custard and various fruits, most often strawberries or peaches.

Which pie, in your opinion, is easier to make?

Pineapple cake, it is not necessary to decorate it after baking.

What is the most difficult part of your job?

As for the preparation of cakes - it's not difficult, but at the present time it is difficult to buy ingredients for making cake since prices are high. This sounds silly and insanely, but unfortunately, it's much more profitable to spend this money for cooking a full-fledged dish.

Could you share a unique recipe for some pie with our users?

With pleasure. Here is the recipe for chocolate cake:

Ingredients: 250 grams of butter, 4 eggs, 4 cups of wheat flour, 1 cup of cocoa powder, 2 cups of sugar, 2 cups of water (you can replace it with orange juice), 1 teaspoon of baking powder and ½ teaspoon of soda

Preparation: combine all the dry ingredients and sift. Prepare the cream separately, whipping butter with sugar. Add one egg and mix with butter and sugar, add a mixture of dry ingredients, and mix them. Add water gradually and finish with the rest of the mixture of dry ingredients, grease, set the oven at 180 ° C, pour the mixture into a mold and bake for 45 minutes.

Which country's pies are most preferable?

Italian pies - cold cakes, such as for example tiramisu, Tres leches cake, etc.
