“Be true to yourself, stop pleasing other people and live for yourself”

was born in Lithuania, in a small town called Palanga. A 25-year-old fitness instructor from Sweden always supports people, their life choices and opinions. Radvile joined Advisors Club one week after joining DB Advisors.

How you ended in Sweden?

It all started when I decided to move to UK, Leicester to study. In my last year of university, I started working at the independent coffee shop. I met my current boyfriend there. It took me two years to realize that my soulmate and love was always in front of me. Later he got a job offer in Stockholm, Sweden and I stayed in Leicester. However, we both realized that we miss each other too much, so he offered to move in with him and I happily said “yes”! And it was probably the best decision I made so far.

What were you studying for?

I studied Interdisciplinary Science, which is all of the sciences in one, like chemistry, biology, physics, IT, forensics, geology etc. I finished all three years and graduated. However, something inside was telling me that it wasn’t for me. I was good at it but I didn’t actually enjoy it. I wanted to do something that gave me a joy.

In which areas are you most interested?

Currently I am interested in fitness, health, I like helping people to reach their goals and motivate them. I also enjoy writing, that’s why I started my blog.

Do you have hobby beside this?

I do like drawing, more like sketching, and designing tattoos. I have two tattoos that I have designed myself and the artist tattooed them.

The tattoos designed by myself have their own story and every tattoo on my body means a particular period of my life, it`s like a map.

On May I had to raise money for cancer research in UK. So I had to learn how to fight in two months and raise money for the cause. All the money for tickets was going to cancer research too. I raised around 200 pounds in total.

How do you see yourself in the future?

Firstly, I see myself as successful personal trainer, successfully helping people regardless of their goals. Also after my website and page will become more popular, I plan to release my sportswear and healthy protein snacks and supplements brand. The biggest long term goal is to open my own 24/7 gym, where I could teach people everything I know. Since I moved to Sweden I feel a lot more motivated and I am actually heading to my goals.

Your favorite films, books, music?

I love really old school stuff, from movies it is Clockwork orange, a great movie and a book which is also my favorite.

I’m kind of a big fan of Johnny Depp, I love his old movies such as “Secret window”, ”Blow”, “Edward - Scissor hands”.

I love reading, so it’s really hard to pick just a few books. But I’d say “Clockwork orange”, “Brave new world”, “Naked Lunch” and “On the Road”, those are old, but classics.

Music - old school rock, thanks to my dad I grew up with a good taste in music. I love «Guns N' Roses», «Led Zeppelin», «Queen», «Red Hot Chili Peppers», «Def Leppard» and Michael Jackson.

Do you have any fears?

I have a really weird fear of ants, it’s just stupid unreasonable fear, I don’t even know why.

How do you react to difficulties?

My reaction is quite calm. I don't like panicking. I feel like all the difficulties I face it’s just another challenge to help me become stronger and better. The most difficult thing for me was to realize that not every person that calls himself your friend is really your friend.

What advice can you give to other people?

I would advise to be true to yourself, stop pleasing other people and live for yourself. Dream big, work hard, reach your goals, inspire others. And of course, be kind. Kindness goes a long way!

Will you go against public opinion?

It depends, what that opinion is, if it violates human right or animal rights I will definitely be against. As long as the public opinion isn't affecting anyone negatively, I’m cool with that.

How do you perceive criticism?

I always accept constructive criticism, because I think it is the way to improvement. This type of criticism is that every great person should seek out. What the person that is chasing excellence wants to know is "what could I do better"?

What do you think makes a person stronger?

I think challenges make me stronger, putting myself out of comfort zone. I think then, I can actually learn something unforgettable. I remember I used to be a very shy person back in the school, I’ve put myself into the uncomfortable situations. To get over it I moved to UK all by myself, lived with people I didn’t know. I had to learn how to behave in different social situations. Then I got my first job in customer service, where the main thing is to communicate with people, which I didn’t like at all. But over time I became so good, that now I crave meeting new people, new challenges, new discoveries.

What do you listen to more: heart or mind?

For now, I would say heart. I used to listen to my mind all the time, calculated all pros and cons in my head before making any decision. But now, I listen to my heart more. Sometimes heart makes you do silly and it seems unreasonable things, which finally lead you to where you meant to be.

What helps you to recognize the majority opinion in the surveys on the website?

I just try to think with open mind, I think it is not necessarily to choose what other people think. I read a lot, look through news from time to time, and I’m constantly on social media. I see what most people like to see, to read, what they are looking for, what are they interested in and I base my answer on that mostly.

Your slogan.

“Nothing feels better than confidence feels!”
