There are already three types of communication in the world at the same time: written speech, spoken and digital. Children need to be thought each of these types of communication so that they feel themselves in harmony with the modern world. The most effective way of learning in this case is according to the likeness.
"If you want children to speak beautifully, talk to them." Accordingly, you have to read with your child to make him love reading, hold a book with him. It does not really matter if you talk with your child using computer and programs for communication or personally read a paper or electronic book along with the child.
Emotional contact is still important - the increase in the number of violation cases of psycho-speech development in children in many respects is caused by the fact that for mothers it is easier to attract a child with gadget rather than communicate with him. Because of the lack of personal communication, suffers the emotional intelligence of children. The creative activity suffers as well because a child is quite severely restricted by the tasks of the program in one or another gadget.
"Digital" children do not stay alone with their thoughts, that is why their cognitive sphere and the ability to analyze and reflect suffer.
Steve Jobs invented the iPad. Why did not he give it to his children? This is an interesting question.
Communication, emotional contact can be kept and maintained, but it is necessary to teach children to navigate in the digital world. Modern children perceive information in a new way, what should entail changes in pedagogy and its transition in "digital pedagogy."
